Internet Desk: Bangladesh youngster Mustafizur Rahman has been signed by Sussex for this season’s Natwest T20 Blast competition. The 20 year old is Sussex’s second overseas signing for 2016.
Mustafizur came into the headline when he took five wickets against India on his ODI debut. Mustafizur became the tenth bowler in the history of cricket to achieve this unique feat. Mustafizur will be available for the whole Natwest T20 Blast tournament. Mustafizur has appeared in eight T20s for Bangladesh and will be the first ever Bangladesh cricketer to play for Sussex.
Mustafizur was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the auction and will be seen playing in the upcoming IPL season 9. Mustafizur currently has 26 wickets in his tally with an average of 12.34 and his best bowling figure of 6-43 came against India.
