File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: After having a delightful spell of football at Hero Indian Super League Champions Atletico de Kolkata, South African winger Sameehg Doutie joins Ajax Cape Town FC in South Africa. The dynamic winger who helped ATK to win their second Hero ISL title this season, was poised to agree a deal with the Urban Warriors, after his contract with Atlético de Kolkata came to an end. And, the Mother City outfit have now confirmed that news in a club statement, with Ajax Cape Town CEO Ari Efstathiou especially pleased to have the 27-year-old back at Ikamva. "Sameehg was brought up at the club since the age of nine so he is an Ajax academy graduate, he left the club at the age of 21 to pursue his career with Pirates, he went to SuperSport and Wits - he has had two fantastic seasons in the Indian Super League,” said Efstathiou in the statement. "He has committed himself to the club to assist us for the next five months, unfortunately it is going to be a short term contract, you never know what happens after that - maybe he enjoys it and he stays - but his dream is to go and play in Europe and we don't want to hinder his plans. "It is just another attacking player who joins the club; we now have Rodrick Kabwe, Aubrey Funga and Sameehg.” Doutie could make his Ajax comeback against his former employers, Bidvest Wits, when the sides clash at the Bidvest Stadium when the Absa Premiership resumes on February 7.
