Internet Desk: Canadian striker Ian Hume, who is well known among football fans from India has joined Spanish Sergunda Division-B club Extremadura UD, the club confirms. Ian Hume is renowned for his heroics in the three editions of Indian Super League, for which he featured for Kerala Blasters and Atletico De Kolkata.

Extremadura Unión Deportiva is a Spanish football team based in Almendralejo, in the autonomous community of Extremadura. Founded in 2007 it plays in Segunda Division B, Group 4, holding home games at Estadio Francisco de la Hera.

The 33-year-old striker started his career with Tranmere Rovers and then moved to Leicester City and enjoyed his best part of career. However, his career after leaving Leicester City was dull as he found it difficult to score regularly and keep himself fixed in a single club. However, things took a surprising turn as he joined Indian club Kerala Blasters for the opening season of the Indian Super League. He was the best player of the tournament with five goals and also helped the South Indian club to reach the final. Hume was the leading goal scorer for Atletico de Kolkata in the season 3 of the Hero ISL to help them become the champions.
