Asian Games 2018: Lakshay Sheoran the hero, India gets its second silver of the day

XtraTime Web Desk: Good news for India again as the nation get another medal at the Asian Games today after Lakshay Sheoran bagged silver in the men’s trap event. Another Indian shooter Manavjit Singh Sindhu missed out bronze by a whisker as he finished fourth.




The Indian shooters have been very impressive at the Asian Games in Jakarta. Lakshay proved that again today by claiming the silver. The 20 year old young shooter held his nerve in a nail biting final to finish in second place. His score was 43/50 and he finished behind   Yang Kunpi of Chinese Taipei.




In the qualification, it was Manavjit Singh Sandhu who topped the qualification charts with a score of 119 and then performing best in the shoot-off. Sheoran too had a score of 119 and qualified in fourth place. However, Sandhu missed out on a place on the podium by a narrow margin.
