Asia Cup 2022: Virat Kohli starts training ahead of leaving for UAE

Xtra Time Web Desk: Star Indian batter Virat Kohli started his training ahead of travelling to UAE for the Asia Cup. Kohli trained at the facilities at BKC on Thursday which is just 20 minutes away from his residence Worli Omkar Building. He was seen doing some fitness drills at the indoors of Bandra Kurla complex. He also shared a video of him taking sprints between the wickets at the BKC indoors.

As expected, Kohli has the Indian team for forthcoming Asia Cup T20 Cricket in UAE. Kohli was on break for last 3 weeks since the tour to England. He went for a vacation with his family. Kohli did not play in the just concluded tour of the West Indies. According to sources, Kohli will begin net practice this week in Mumbai to get ready for the Asia Cup

As far as Asia CUP tournament is concerned, Kohli has been hugely successful. He is one of the leading scorers in the tournament. In 11 Matches he has scored 613 runs which included 3 Centuries with a batting average of 61.3. In 5 T20 matches in the tournament, Kohli has scored 176 runs at an average of 76.5. Fans will hope he can bounce back to form from the Asia Cup.
