Xtra Time Web Desk: Ravichandran Ashwin (42 off 62) and Shreyas Iyer (29 off 46) weathered the storm as they stitched an invaluable 71 runs for the 8th wicket to pull off a thrilling 3 wickets win over Bangladesh in the second test here at the Sher e Bangla stadium on Saturday. It was a perfect Christmas gift for the Indian team as they made a clean sweep in the two match test series against Bangladesh. KL Rahul and his boys won the first test at Chittagong by 188 runs.

Requiring exactly 100 runs to win the test, India had a disastrous beginning on Day 4, losing overnight batter Jaydev Unadkat for 13 runs. He was out leg before to Shakib al Hasan. Mehidy Hasan Miraz bowled a magical spell as he got rid of dangerous Rishabh Pant (9 off 13) and Axar Patel (34 off 69) in quick succession to reduce the score to 74/7.
