Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi came up with some shocking relevation regarding the ongoing treatment of Pakistan’s left arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Shaheen who recently missed his Asia Cup tournament due to knee injury is currently in London for the rehabilitation.

On Friday, Shahid Afridi who is also the future father in law of Shaheen stated that “when I talk about Shaheen that guy went to England on his own. He bought his own ticket, he spent his own money to stay in a hotel. I arranged a doctor for him, then he contacted the doctor. PCB is not doing anything, he was doing that on his own. Everything, from coordination to doctors to his hotel room and food expenses, he is paying out of his own pocket. As far as I know, Zakir Khan (Director of Cricket for international tours at the PCB) talked to him 1-2 times, but that was it.”

Following him, the former pacer Wasim Akram also slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board for their ignorance regarding Shaheen Afridi’s treatment expenses.

Although, Pakistan Cricket Board itself dismissed the allegations. Meanwhile they stated that they have contacted Shaheen and are ready to bear all sorts of medical expenses.

Shaheen Shah Afridi has been included in the recent Pakistan T20 Squad ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 that will commence from 16th October. His presence will definitely play a huge role for the Pakistan Team in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
