Xtra Time Web Desk: Former captain of the South African cricket team, and bona-fide legend of modern cricket, A.B. de Villiers, may return to international cricket soon if all goes to plan for South Africa. The legendary ‘Mr. 360’, as he came to be known, lead his country to great heights, but decided to bring his international career to an abrupt end in 2018, much to the surprise of many.

All that can change, however, should he choose to change his decision this year. Recently, South Africa’s head coach Mark Boucher hinted towards a comeback for de Villiers at the T20 World Cup this year, while on the other hand, Graeme Smith has also now referred to a possible return for the veteran cricketer, while announcing that South Africa will be touring West Indies.

A.B. de Villiers is also keen on the return, it would seem, as he himself has also spoken up about a possible return to the international fray multiple times. Going by the comments made by Smith, we could possibly see de Villiers return for the T20 series against West Indies. If such a return were to happen, it would be a moment to rejoice for cricket fans all over the world, owing to the fact that they would get to see the generational talent on the international stage yet again.
