Xtra Time Web Desk : After a long wait, Kabir Khan’s film 83 is finally out in the theatres today. The movie has gripped India with the entire film industry and cricket lovers. The film that dramatizes India’s iconic win at the 1983 world cup, has been receiving positive reviews today and long before it’s release.

Ranveer Singh, served justice playing the role of Team India Captain, Kapil Dev is getting a lot of compassion. He shares a picture with his mother on Instagram quoting, “hum jeet gaye mumma (PS: that’s the actual cup!)” at the 83 film release. Deepika Padukone is seen playing the role of his on-screen spouse, Romi Dev, shares her thoughts about the film, “ I think it’s incredible, for me 83 is not just a film, it’s an emotion, and experience."

“83” has put the box office on fire today. The entire nation is praising Kabir Khan’s masterpiece. The legendary Sunil Gavaskar said, “Saw the movie for the first time at the Premiere last night and was blown away by the film. It’s simply brilliant and the way every actor has got the mannerisms, the walk, the look, the style of every player was unbelievably uncanny. Full marks to Kabir Khan and his team for their efforts.”

The film has 3.2 ratings on an average out of 5 and has been regarded “one of the best films in 2021”. The film critic Shweta Rashmi tweeted Ranveer Singh, "I don’t remember crying this much out of pride. Every frame makes me so proud of how far you’ve come.
