Debasis Sen, Port of Spain: A sodden outfield has prevented any play on the second day of the fourth and final Test between the West Indies and India at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad on Friday.

After four inspections of the outfield following torrential rain on Thursday and overnight, the umpires finally called off days play at 2:30 pm.

Rain and a saturated out field had limited play to just 22 overs on the opening day on Thursday.

West Indies are 62-2 in their first innings after winning the toss and choosing to bat, with Kraigg Brathwaite 32 not out and Marlon Samuels unbeaten on four.

India lead the series 2-0, but need to win the fourth Test to prevent Pakistan from overtaking them at the top of the world rankings.
