XtraTime Web Desk: Five-time World champion Brazil has reached Russia ahead of the 2018 World Cup in style. All the footballers were seen well dressed in blue suits, shirts and ties. They have already reached Sochi which is their home base as well where they will start training in hope of winning their sixth title.

Ahead of reaching to their home base Neymar Jr. and co had beaten Austria 3-0 last night in their final warm-up game ahead of the tournament.

The Local fans who were waiting at the airport in Sochi late into the night waved the national flag as the players and coaching staff boarded a coach to head to their team hotel.

The Brazilians are staying at the luxury Swissotel Resort Sochi Kamelia in the Black Sea resort, a five-star hotel where rooms cost £600-a-night.

The hotel’s staff, some dressed in traditional Russian costume, pulled out all the stops to welcome the Brazilian stars, waving flags, singing and even offering up local delicacies.

New Manchester United signing Fred posted an Instagram snap of a cake iced in the famous Brazilian green and gold as he checked out the new surroundings.

Brazil’s World Cup base is certainly stunning and even the weather will make it a home-from-home for the Samba stars with Sochi enjoying more sunshine than any other part of the country.

The resort faces onto the Black Sea with stunning views from one of the 20 luxurious suites and the flower-shaped swimming pool.

Tite and his squad will use the nearby Yug-Sport Stadium for their daily training sessions but the down-side of staying in Sochi is the considerable travel distance to their matches.

Brazil open their World Cup campaign against Switzerland in Rostov on Sunday evening, then make the long journey north to Saint-Petersburg to play Costa Rica on June 22 and then Moscow to face Serbia on June 27.

Having qualified from the notoriously tough South American group with ease, Brazil are considered among the favourites to lift the trophy in Russia.
