2018 FIFA WC: England took calculative risks against Kuldeep, says Chahal after loss in Cardiff T20I

XtraTime Web Desk: In a must win game the England cricket team took calculative risks against Kuldeep Yadav feels another Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. England beat India at Cardiff in the second T20I game in the last over to level the series and the decider will be played on July 8 at Bristol.

“Kuldeep bowled really well in the last game but in this game they played him more carefully. They chose which delivery they wanted to play or not play. I think with a score of 150 if we took it to the last over then we bowled well,” said Chahal during the post match press-conference.

As per Chahal the wicket a bit helpful to the medium pacers as it was a seaming wicket and that was the reason why both the team’s failed to play big shots in the powerplay.

“The wicket was a bit helpful for the medium pacers because it was a seaming wicket. There was good bounce. So you will see that neither team was able to score big in the powerplay. so you can say that we could have defended 150, if we could have prevented those 2-3 sixes in the end,” added Chahal.
