Wriddhiman Saha misses the Eliminator against Royal Challengers Bangalore because of an injury
XtraTime Web Desk - The news came as a shock to everyone when David Warner told that Wriddhiman Saha will not be playing in the must win Eliminator against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Apparently, Saha is carrying a niggle and hence he misses out the knockout. He is replaced by the feisty wicketkeeper-batsman, Shreevats Goswami.
Saha has been instrumental in the late surge of Sunrisers this season. In four matches (three effectively), Saha has fearlessly hammered an impressive 214 runs at a strike-rate of 139.86 at the top of the order. Most of these runs have come against top teams this season.
The flurry of the right handed batsman also helped David Warner to play free and score a ton of runs in powerplays which helped in must-win encounters.
The injury scare is also a bigger worry as he is the first choice wicket-keeper for the Indian Test team which will soon start its Australian tour.
