Internet Desk: It was a great home season for Indian cricket as the team ended on the top of the list in the Test rankings and now in 2018 they have to face strong opponents like South Africa, England and Australia away. It will be a real test for Indian team especially in the longest format of the game.

(India tour of South Africa Jan 5- Feb 24): India has to face Morne Morkel, Kagiso Rabada and veteran Dale Steyn in a very fast track. Indian batsmen are also in a great form as they have Virat Kohli as captain, Cheteshwar Pujara and Lokesh Rahul in the squad. Now, how well they can play against this kind of attack in these difficult conditions will be the key for their success.

Indian bowlers are also giving their best to help the batsmen as the scenarios changed completely. Fast bowlers are also a big factor for India as they proved themselves as match winners and the spinners like R. Ashwin, Jadeja and youngsters like Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Jadav and Chahal are also playing their part as well.

(India tour of England July 03- Sept.07): India will go to England in the second half of summer as it will be much easier for team India as the ball will not swing that much which is always expected in English conditions. But, still it will be not so easy to face world’s no 1 pacer Anderson, Broad. Last time India failed to perform in England and Australia also but, it’s a very different team all together.

(India tour of Australia Nov 2018-Jan 2019): Australia is on fire now trashing England in the Ashes and winning the series. Hazelwood, Starc brilliant in the bowling skipper Smith, Warner are in prime form. It will be the last tour in this season for India.

So it will be a very interesting season as world cup will knock the door after Australia series. If India can gain some momentum before the biggest event in world cricket it will be great for them. Most important part is to be fit and injury free as the team has to travel a lot and adjust different conditions.
