Kolkata: East Bengal who returned to Kolkata after playing practice games with ISL teams, conducted their first practice at the club and on the very first day a mishap occurred. Just when the team has started running after the gym session, Bajo was seen limping off the ground. As a result coach Khalid Jamil and Garcia came rushing to his aid. However the injury seemed to be slight for the foreigner.
Gaffer Khalid Jamil was however strict on the ground as he training seperately and providing instructions to Brazilian defender Eduardo Ferreira.
It has come to light that Jamil is not at all satisfied with Eduardo’s fitness as well as the defender has lost his focus momentarily in the practice games. The Red and Gold coach being unhappy for this obvious reason decided to train the Brazilian separately after the practice.
“Despite the team conceded goals in the practice matches, the formation would click slowly” said Jamil who wants to play two more practice games before the I-league. Two players however arrived at the club to give their trials. On the other hand the installation of floodlights are also being held at a speedy pace.
