Debasis Sen, Dominica: Star India batter Virat Kohli displayed great generosity towards the local fans after the first test against West Indies got over on Day 3 at Windsor Park. The visitors wrapped up the first test by an innings and 142 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-test series. As most of the Indian players were interested on boarding the Team Coach parked outside the players' arena, Kohli took the time to fulfil the wishes of the fans who approached him. Being aware that the Indian team does not frequently travel to this region, with the last visit dating back to 2011 when the test match was drawn, Kohli understood the significance of this opportunity for the fans.

Despite missing out on what could have been his 29th test century, having been dismissed for 76 runs during the first session on Day 3, Kohli remained enthusiastic about interacting with the fans.
