What is the future of Kamo after his stellar performance against Patha Chakra?

Kolkata: Bayi Stephen Kamo appeared to be a devastating force to write off a spirited Patha Chakra as the former Aizawl FC forward scored four goals on his own and that too for the first time in his career to help Mohun Bagan to register a memorable victory over “giant killer” Patha Chakra. Kamo is also now the highest goalscorer of the league, sitting pretty with goals from three games.

There were some strict criticism about the performance of Kamo and was heard that the officials are planning to release him after the I-League. But he glittered right when it mattered the most. But he said, “I’m happy because the team has won. It’s not important if Kromah or me is scoring the goals. The important thing is winning and I am happy for it. It was not an easy game.”

No doubt, the performance will leave the task more difficult right now to release either Kamo or Kromah after the league. Bagan official Debashish Dutta too seemed enjoying this contest , as he said, “The headache is not ours, the headache is certainly for our technical committee. The senior coach too would find it difficult now. Still a few games to go and I hope we can come to a decision which will be the best fpor the club in the I-League.”
