What is Rahim Ali doing at Mohun Bagan before the I-League?

Kolkata: Rahim Ali a member of the Indian U-17 team that took part in the FIFA U17 World Cup paid a visit to Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan during their practice session today. Rahim who would be playing in the I-League came to visit the Green and Maroon brigade.

Rahim came to visit Mohun Bagan official Debasish Dutta however Bagan gaffer Sanjoy Sen who became happy and excited on seeing Rahim introduced the youngster to all the players of the club. Rahim was immensely happy on meeting his favourite Sony Norde and also claimed that the World Cup has changed his life as he gained a bit of popularity.

Rahim, who has been an academy product of Mohun Bagan said, “In the future I want to play for the Mohun Bagan senior team”.

However during the practice session goalie Shibinraj got injured. The magnitude of the injury being not too much, he is expected to be fit in a couple of days. Other goalkeeper Shankar Ray after being fully recovered from dengue joined the team practice. After the practice got over the Bagan coach showed the video of the FC Goa match to the players.
