Internet Desk: Virat Kohli and Co. are just one step away to create history, as they might become the first Indian side to complete a clean-sweep in an overseas three match Test rubber when they will lock horns with a much inexperienced Sri Lanka in the third and final match, which will start on Saturday. Just after the Test series the Men in Blue will play five ODIs and one T20I, which will start on August 20.
The squad will be picked on August 13 after India skipper Virat Kohli discusses the matter with one of the national selectors Debang Gandhi. Debang is currently in South Africa with the India A team. On being asked about the matter during the pre-match press conference, Kohli said,” We are going to sit down on selection soon and we certainly have plans in mind and combinations that we want to speak about. So as captain I am definitely in the thick of things and knowing what to speak to the committee about.
Kohli was surprised to know that there are rumors that he might not play in the ODI series and one of T20I.”Who said I am not playing? If you don’t want me to play, then tell me, I have no problems in playing,” concluded Virat.
