Kolkata: Two star foreigners of East Bengal club arrived today in the city, striker Willis Plaza and defender Carlyle Deon Mitchell. Both the players were very tired after a long flight. Plaza will be playing his second I-League season for the Kolkata giants after he scored 9 goals in 14 games.

“Though I am a defender, I like scoring goals. If the club allows such an opportunity I will grab it. Apart from covering the defence I would also wish to score goals. I have heard a lot of the famous Kolkata Derby and I am really excited to play the game. If everything goes well, I want to gift the I-League to East Bengal” said Mitchell to East Bengal media.

“I have played the previous season here and I well accustomed to the environment of the club and would manage myself accordingly. Khalid Jamil is a very good coach and he made Aizawl FC the champions the last season” said Plaza.

“Last year I faced a lot of criticism and would want to prove myself. I really grateful to the club officials for granting me a second opportunity” said the striker.

Both the players are expected to sign for the Kolkata giants at the IFA and would report to the coach Khalid Jamil. After reaching the club they would decide whether to join practice session or not.

Meanwhile the IFA Disciplinary Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday regarding the issue concerning about Abinas Ruidas.
