XtraTime Web Desk: A poor error was found in West Bengal Government’s text book where legendary Milkha Singh’s original picture was not used and in place of it they used Farhan Akhtar’s picture, who played the reel Milkha Singh in the 2013 biographical film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
After knowing it Farhan too urged the West Bengal’s minister of school education to look into the matter and replace the image from the textbook.
“To the Minister of School Education, West Bengal. There is a glaring error with the image used in one of the school text books to depict Milkha Singh-ji. Could you please request the publisher to recall and replace this book? Sincerely, (sic)” he tweeted.

Beside that Farhan also tagged Trinamool Congress MP Derek O’Brien in the tweet who responded saying that he was “on it”.
www.xtratime.in talked with Milkha Singh on this matter. After knowing it Milkha replied,” I am really disappointed after knowing this. But I don’t want to blame the government of West Bengal. I think it’s a mistake by the publisher. I am happy that Farhan has tweeted about this matter and I hope that they will rectify their mistake.
