XtraTime Web Desk: Former India captain MS Dhoni on Friday made a rare appearance on social media. The Chennai Super Kings captain was seen in a short video uploaded by the franchise on its official twitter handle. In the video Dhoni can be seen in a new look, waving while looking at the screen.
“The much needed pawsitivity at 7! #Thala @msdhoni #WhistlePodu,” CSK captioned the video. In the video, Dhoni can be seen keeping a new style with his beards. His beards also seemed to have been dyed as it grew grey in recent times.
The video became an instant hit on social media among the MS Dhoni fans. Most of the Dhoni followers and fans started writing messages for their favorite ‘Thala’. There were a few who also praised his new look
As far as social media is concerned, the 39-year old has not operated his Twitter account since the 14th of February. On the same day, it was also his last Instagram appearance. His wife Sakshi though keeps sharing videos occasionally of his hubby mowing the lawns of their farmhouse, sometimes giving Ziva a ride. Recently another video went viral where Dhoni was seen driving a tractor while doing some organic farming.
Dhoni hasn’t played any competitive cricket since July last year and was supposed to return to the field during this year’s Indian Premier League, but unfortunately the cash-rich league has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. As far as his international future is concerned, there is still no clarity.
