Xtra Time Web Desk: When it comes to fitness, there are very few in the current Indian team who can match star Indian batter Virat Kohli. Virat has always set high fitness standards and it was evident once again when he aced the Yo Yo test carried on all Indian players to take part in upcoming Asia Cup 2023.

Taking to Instagram, Virat shared a picture of him on the ground right after the fitness test. The star batter also revealed his Yo-Yo test score which came out to be 17.2. Virat has earlier scored as high as 19 in YoY o tests.

The Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to begin on August 30, with the Indian team's first match on September 02 against Pakistan. The next three months remain crucial for India's success in marquee events.

With the team having not played together in ODIs since July 2022, the primary emphasis during the camp will be on match simulations. This will allow the players to regain their rhythm and adapt to the slow pitches expected in Kandy and Colombo, where the Asia Cup matches will be held.

Furthermore, the coaching staff will work on defining specific roles for each member of the squad, ensuring that everyone understands their responsibilities and can contribute effectively to India’s campaign in the tournament. As the excitement builds, Indian cricket fans eagerly await the team’s performance in the Asia Cup 2023.
