XtraTime Web Desk: In a Group C game of Vijay Hazare Trophy Bengal today beat Jammu & Kashmir by 6 wickets to start their campaign on a high note. Earlier winning the toss Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary sent J & K to bat first. In a rain curtail match Jammu & Kashmir was all out on 96 runs and Bengal batsmen chased down the total with six wickets in hand with 26 deliveries still remaining.
One can think it’s a normal domestic game but later in the day a post on social media by Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary sparked controversy where he lashed out about the poor domestic pitches.
