XtraTime Web Desk - ATK Mohun Bagan's winning run came to an end on Monday as Jamshedpur FC beat them 2-1 in a very competitive match.

Jamshedpur FC controlled the match right from the start. Once again, ATK Mohun Bagan had a very slow start and that's where Jamshedpur hold the grip. Their attacking football with Valskis up front created a lot of trouble for solid Bagan's defense. Valskis striked first in the 30th minute from a header as Sandesh Jhingan failed to head it in other direction. This put ATK Mohun Bagan under a bit of pressure as Jamshedpur played brilliantly to end the first half 1-0.

In the second half, Jamshedpur scored in the 66th minute to double their lead. It was again their main man Valskis, who know have 5 goals in the tournament. ATK Mohun Bagan's second half was completely different from their first half. They created a lot of chances and played some very attractive football. Roy Krishna got the goal in the 80th minute and gave ATK Mohun Bagan a chance to comeback but even after creating many goal scoring opportunities, they failed. However, players like Manvir Singh and Prabir Das deserves special credit for their unbelievable performance.

With this ATK Mohun Bagan now lost their first match of the season while Jamshedpur won their first. The biggest positive from today's match for ATK Mohun Bagan will be Roy Krishna's form. Win or loss, the lad always scores for the Green and Maroon brigade.
