Internet Desk: Mohammedan Sporting Club were guilty of missing too many chances as they settled for a scoreless draw against Sports Authority of India (East Zone) in a Round 5 Kolkata Zone encounter of the U-18 I-League at SAI Ground on Thursday.

Mohammedan SC were the better side for the entire game but the visitors could not translate their superiority into goals against the hosts, who were on the back foot for most of the game.

The draw meant Mohammedan SC are placed fifth on table with 5 points from 5 games while SAI are on third with 8 points from as many games.

Mohammedan SC had a lot of the ball in the first half and created a host of chances but were unlucky not to take the lead. They had atleast four shots on goal, but unfortunately none of those chances found the back of the net.

In the second half, SAI shut shop, allowing little space for Mohammedan SC to get the breakthrough as the game ended scoreless.

Mohammedan SC now face United Sports Club in a away game on next Thursday, 22nd December, 2016 at Kalyani Stadium.
