Kolkata: East Bengal is going stronger in the transfer market despite their uncertainty over participating in the Hero ISL this season, as they are now on advanced talks with Jamshedpur FC's star winger Bikash Jairu, the player himself confirmed to XtraTime.in. [caption id="attachment_87819" align="aligncenter" width="580"] Bikash Jairu is a former East Bengal footballer.[/caption] In an interaction with XtraTime, Jairu said, "Yes, I have been offered by East Bengal for the next couple of seasons and honestly I want to play there as well." Though he added, "But I have offers from a few other clubs as well. I am yet to finalize my destination in the forthcoming season." Jairu played for India as well and made 11 appearances for the nation. He represented East Bengal from 2015 to 2017 and had his best season when Biswajit Bhattacharya was the Head Coach. If he signs for the Red and Gold brigade, it will be a top signing for the club.
