Pic lankaone.com[/caption] Internet Desk: Indian tennis players are up for their Grand Slam venture from today. Indian trio of Leander Paes, Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza will start the US Open in their respective doubles matches with a good hope as Sania and Leander are defending champions of women's doubles and mixed doubles respectively. The best hope for India in this US Open is definitely Sania Mirza. The world no.1 women’s singles player has won two consecutive titles after the Olympics. Significantly, both the titles she won with two different partners. This time in US Open the defending doubles champion will start with another partner. Barbora Strycova of Czech Republic will join her as the women’s doubles partner.  This pair will start their US Open tour against US pair of Jada Hart and Ena Shibahara. It is the challenge for Sania to win this time as she is not only the defending champion but also the semi-finalist of 2014 and 13 US Open. The first match is comparatively easier for the seventh seeded Sania Strycova. The opponent may be playing on their homeland, though they are not seeded pair at all. Winning this match Sania and he partner may face the first seed pair of Kristina Mladenovic and Caroline Garcia. In the mixed doubles India has another bet of Leander Paes. He is the defending US Open mixed-doubles winner pairing with veteran Martina Hingis. This time also they have a pair. This will be a challenge for Leander and Hingis pair to win the title to secure their spot. They have a comparatively easier match against US pair of Sachia Vickery and Frances Tiafoe. If Leander can win the mixed doubles title this time he will catch veteran Martina Navratilova who won 10mixed doubles titles. Rohan Bopanna will start his men’s doubles venture along with Frederik Nielsen of Denmark. In 2015 Bopanna lost in the quarterfinals. So this time he has to take the challenge to pull up his US Open journey to at least semi-finals. However, their first match is rather tough as they will face the 16th seed of Radek Stepanek and Ninad Zimonjic.
