Kolkata: “You cannot score 4-5 goals each every day. You need to understand this is football and not basketball”, said Mohun Bagan’s Scottish striker Darryl Duffy ahead of their match against Southern Samity tomorrow in their home ground.
Southern Samity have a bunch of experienced customers in the likes of Antoni Soren, Snehashis Chakraborty, Eche, Ashim Biswas, Deepak Mondal, Biswajit Saha and others. Mohun Bagan coach Shankarlal Chakraborty feels that it is not going to be a cakewalk for them.
After scoring 9 goals in the last two matches and securing 6 points, Shankarlal still feels that they need to work hard to win tomorrow’s match. He said, “Southern Samity is a balanced team with a lot of experienced and senior players and we need to be very careful against them.”
Mohun Bagan coach for the I-League Sanjoy Sen was present in the ground to watch his boys training. He also believes that his boys will keep the winning momentum too in this match.
