Batting first on a challenging pitch, the Indian team struggled, posting a total of 240 runs in 50 overs. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul contributed half-centuries, while Rohit Sharma played a brisk innings, scoring 47 off 31 balls. In response, Australia, despite losing three early wickets, comfortably reached the target, with Travis Head leading the charge with an impressive 147 off 120 balls. The defeat left Indian fans and players in disappointment, marking the end of their World Cup journey.
