File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: The honorable Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected all the suggested names by the amicus curae for the post of BCCI officials who were over 70 years of age. The apex court had earlier told advocate Gopal Subramaniam and Anil Divanas to submit the list of six names, who are below 70 for the posts of January 20. They submitted nine names with a few individuals aged over 70. The top court did question the advocates that why these names were included and rejected those names from the list. It is now confirmed that the court won’t consider those aged above 70. The BCCI and the Centre are also reportedly seeking the apex court’s nod to suggest names for appointment as BCCI administrators. On the other hand, Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi has urged the apex court to delay the announcement of the BCCI administrators by two weeks. Rohatgi also asked the court on January 20 to reconsider the main judgment which, denies full membership status to Railways, Services and Association of Universities. Supreme Court is expected to announce the names of the officials on January 30 who will oversee the running of BCCI while it aligns its constitution with recommendations made by the panel led by Justice RM Lodha.
