Internet Desk: Former East Bengal and Mohun Bagan footballer Ajay Singh is opening a football academy named “Chinamay Ajay SIngh Football Academy” on his own name tomorrow at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand tomorrow (21st July).

India football captain Sunil Chhetri will be present as the chief guest during the inauguration of the academy as Sunil will be flying from Singapore to be present in the inauguration as he is short of time.

Apart from Sunil Chhetri, Jharkhand SAI Director Sushil Verma and Jharkhand Football Association official Gulam Rabbani will be present in the inauguration of the academy.

A group of 20-30 footballers will be registered through a talent hunt programme and they will be divided into two groups of U-12 and U-14 quota of footballers as it is named generally an youth development project.

Although the opening ceremony is on 21st July but the academy will officially start working from August 1, 2016. Former footballers like Abhay Kumar , Sanjay Parthe and Satish Minch will be training the footballers and all these coaches have played for either of the two big clubs in Kolkata.

There is previously a TFA as well as SAIL Academy in Bokaro but to improve the quality of footballers and increase the footballers bank Ajay Singh is opening this academy.
