Star Indian defender joins ISL franchise, Mohun Bagan signs talented wing back

Indian Transfer
Kolkata: ISL franchise Kerala Blasters finally signs India’s one of the best defenders after series of negotiations. Sandesh Jinghan has reportedly matched a huge money deal with the Kochi franchise. Jinghan becomes their second player to be retained.

A few days back CK Vineeth has signed for the Blasters but there was confusion regarding the second player with Mehtab Hossain, invited for talks by the Blasters, snubbed the offer.

Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan completed the signing of Ricky Lallawmawma, the energetic right full-back from DSK Shivajians. Ricky had an outstanding season for  Aizawl FC in the 2015/16 season and was thus signed by DSK. Unfortunately he didn’t get much playing time there and Mohun Bagan could just be the place he was dreaming for.

On the flip side, star Indian attacking midfielder Jayesh Rane is yet to decide his future, as he told www.xtratime.in , “I haven’t decided my future as yet. I have offers from both the Kolkata heavyweights. But I will take my final decision in 2-3 days.” National team midfielder Bikash Jairu, who had a great spell with East Bengal in the last couple of years, might sign for their arch rivals Mohun Bagan. Though he has lucrative offers from all the ISL franchises. He told XtraTime, “I have offers from all the ISL franchises, I have a good offer from Mohun Bagan as well. But I’m likely to join the ISL players draft. Though I will be in Kolkata soon to discuss the offer with Mohun Bagan.”

East Bengal has approached Goan forward Victorino Fernandes as well. But he told XtraTime, “Yes I’m in talks with them. But I told them that I have a contract with Sporting Clube de Goa and I have to play for them in the Goa Pro League. I can join East Bengal on loan for the I-League.”
