Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza welcome a baby boy

XtraTime Web Desk: India’s star tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik have given a good news to their fans that they were blessed with their first child (baby boy) on Tuesday.

Shoaib Malik announced the good news on his twitter handle.

“Excited to announce: It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled ???? #BabyMirzaMalik,” Malik tweeted.

Sania’s good friend from Bollywood, Farah Khan posted a heartwarming post on her social media handle to congratulate the celebrity duo.

“Finally!! Best news in a long time!! Congratulations @mirzasaniar @realshoaibmalik @anammirzaaa @imranmirza58 n of course the nani n daadi ??god bless our lil angel,” Farah Khan wrote on Instagram.

Earlier this year during the ‘Goa Fest 2018’ Sania said that their baby would have both the surnames of them.

“Today I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter,” Sania had said.

Legendary tennis star Serena Williams clinched the 2017 Australian Open when she was few weeks pregnant. Later she gave birth of her baby girl Alexis Olympia and made a comeback in the WTA tour earlier in March 2018.
