Shami predicts a hard fought series against Australia

Sabyasachi Bagchi, Kolkata:
India speedster Mohammad Shami made a sudden appearance at the Eden Gardens on Monday during the first day of the Ranji Trophy clash between Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The Bengal bowler was in town since Saturday, to complete certain formalities in court and also sort out some issues with his banker here. The Moradabad fast bowler visited the Eden Gardens with former security officer of the India team Jaydev Joshi, towards the end of first days play.

He was seen waiting at the boundary lines before the umpires called off the day’s play here at the Eden Gardens. Clad in a black Tee and jeans, the fast bowler met his Bengal teammates and interacted with Ashoke Dinda and coach Sairaj Bahutule. The UP born fast bowler also went to the Madhya Pradesh dressing room and spent some time with Avesh Khan and Devendra Bundela. Before leaving the Eden Gardens, he interacted briefly with the media only with a condition that no one could ask anything about his personal life.

Ahead of going to the Eden Gardens Shami went to Lalbabzar as Joint CP (Crime) Praveen Kumar Tripathi called him for questioning him. Shami went there with his lawyer.

As per the sources Mr. Tripathi asked him two questions there. The first was that his wife Hasin Jahan alleged that Shami and his family are removing the evidences which can prove Shami is guilty, beside that they have also threatened the eye witnesses as well.  And secondly a few months back Hasin also alleged that Shami is playing for India by hiding his age. She posted her evidences on her social media and lodged a complaint as well. Though Shami denied all the allegations during the questioning process. The sources has said he told the police that BCCI has Shami’s original birth certificate and if they want they can ask BCCI to send it to them.
