Sachin, Virat and Dhoni among list of invitees for Pran Pratishtha Ceremony in Ayodhya

Xtra Time Web Desk: Legendary Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli leads a list of sportspersons invited for the much anticipated Pran Pratistha Ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The last minute preparations are in full swing as numerous high-profile dignitaries from across the country. Among the distinguished guests are several prominent sportspersons, including Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Deepika Kumari. The ceremony, expected to draw a crowd exceeding 7,000 people, will officially commence next Monday, with Vedic rituals set to begin on January 16.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who laid the foundation stone for the Ram Mandir in 2020, will personally attend the ceremony. Commencing a special 11-day religious exercise last Friday in anticipation of the consecration ceremony, Modi shared sentiments of experiencing profound emotions unlike any before in his life.

In a gesture of inclusivity, the Ram temple trust has extended invitations to 4,000 seers from various parts of the country and 50 guests from foreign nations. As a symbolic gift, all attendees at the consecration ceremony on January 22 will receive ‘Ramraj,’ the soil extracted during the temple’s foundation laying. This event holds immense cultural and religious significance, symbolizing a historic milestone in the construction and consecration of the Ram Mandir, with the presence of dignitaries and sportstars adding to its grandeur.
