Root touches Don Bradman's record as the Englishmen scored another double century
XtraTime Web Desk - England captain Joe Root broke and created few records as the Englishmen scored another double century.
Indian bowlers couldn't find any solution as Joe Root completed his double century with a six and became the first English cricketer to score a double century with a six.
This is just the beginning. Joe Root also broke the record as his double century became the highest individual score in 100th test. This also became Joe Root's highest individual score against India. Previously, Mike Gatting held the record as he had 207 runs in the same ground.
Root also touched Don Bradman's record. He became the first captain in 84 years to score three consecutive 150+ scores in test cricket. He only became the second captain to do so.
With two hundreds in last three matches, Joe Root also has the most number of double centuries in a calendar year and we have just completed one month in 2021. This was his fifth double century in his career and only Wally Hammond (7) is ahead of him.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
