Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team is on a role having registered comprehensive wins in the first three games of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The Men in Blue is now in Pune for their next game against Bangladesh at the MCA Stadium on October 19.

The Indian team management has decided to take an extra rest day. Sunday was a travelling day, so there was no training or media activity. Considering the extreme hot and humid conditions, the team management decided to not train in order to manage workload and keep the players refresh and recharged before they take on Bangladesh and New Zealand on October 22.

The Indian team defeated arch-rivals Pakistan to make three wins in a row as they will look to continue their winning run against the Bangladeshi side on October 19 (Thursday).
Earlier in the tournament, the Men in Blue have defeated the likes of Australia and Afghanistan. The Men in Blue will be eyeing their fourth consecutive win of the competition.

It has been a collective effort from the Indian team so far with everyone contributing and playing their role to perfection. Captain Rohit Sharma has been brilliant both with the bat and led the team well. Star batter Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer have all made useful contributions. In the bowling department Jasprit Bumrah has been phenomenal. The likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja has also done well. Hardik Pandya too has chipped in and performed at crucial stages.
