Rishabh Pant sledges Australian batsmen in an unique way

XtraTime Web Desk: India’s young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is well known for his power hitting. But on Friday he hogged the lime lights in a different way as he was seen taunting the Aussie batsmen on Day 2 of the ongoing first test match at Adelaide Oval.

Pant was seen trying to get in the head of Australian left hand batsman Usman Khawaja. In the 30th over of the Australian innings, Pant quipped: “Not everyone is Pujara here, lads” in a bid to rile up Khawaja, who was trying to consolidate after the hosts lost Shaun Marsh to R Ashwin in the first over after Lunch.

The wicketkeeper batsman was talking about Pujara’s classy century on day 1 as he hit 123 runs in 246 deliveries to take the visitors a respectable total of 250 after they were reduced to 127 for 6 at one stage in their first innings.

Khawaja finally departed after nine overs to Ashwin as the Indian off-spinner beat him with flight, dip and turn. The left-handed batsman failed to build on a solid start as he was dismissed on 28 (125 balls).
