Revealed: Where will the 2026 World Cup happen?

XtraTime Web Desk: Today FIFA has announced that the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by United States, Canada and Mexico which is collectively known as the United Bid. They have outclassed Morocco in a vote which was held by FIFA Congress today.

The United bid got 134 votes (64%) of the votes in Moscow, on the flipside of it Morocco got only 65 votes (33%). And only one vote went to neither of them.

It will be a historic moment for soccer in North America as USA will host 60 out of 80 matches in 2026, and among them all the games from the quarterfinals will be played in USA.

The latest World Cup is set to begin in Russia from tomorrow where the hosts will face Saudi Arabia. The next World Cup will be played in Qatar in 2022.
