Internet Desk: The fairy tale of Aizawl FC seems in no mood to stop as Bollywood now wants a biopic on their coach Khalid Jamil, who has been a key person in current scenario of football in India.
Aizawl President Robert Royte told www.xtratime.in that, “The movie has been proposed and talks are seriously underway the movie is supposedly to be titled “Zero to Hero.” Mr Ajay Devgan will likely be the star to don Aizawl FC’s coach Khalid Jamil.” Though the owner of Aizawl FC, Mr Royte made the announcement on the occasion of an awareness event organized by a local NGO in Aizawl.
The Aizawl FC President told www.xtratime.in, “The Bollywood intervention has been a great news for Mizoram football as well as Indian football. We are really excited to get the proposal and the biopic is looking likely to start its work soon.”
Bollywood of late has shown some significant interest in movies based on sports and the sportspeople. In recent times, movies like ‘Chak de India!’ have been a huge hit. Biopics like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Mary Kom’,’M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Dangal’ have also enjoyed tremendous success in the box office.
The biopic on Khalid Jamil would be the first project on an I-League club coach in Bollywood.
