Internet Desk: A superb spell of fast bowling by Ashoke Dinda helped Bengal bundle out Baroda for just 97 runs in a Ranji Trophy Group A clash at Lahli. Dinda took 6 wickets for 45 runs while Mukesh Kumar returned with 3/39 to bowl out Baroda in 30.4 overs. Opener Aditya Waghmode was the top scorer for Baroda with 17 runs.

Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary did not hesitate to put the opposition in after winning the toss in the morning. Bengal pacers responded well to their captain’s decision to bowl first. Mukesh Kumar, coming back from an injury gave Bengal the first breakthrough as he got Kedar Devdhar leg before for 13 runs. Dinda struck immediately by getting Mistry plumbed for just 2 runs. Baroda batsman never looked to have recovered from the dreadful start as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. The conditions too made things difficult for them.
