Rain plays spoilsport as Australia vs India 2nd T20I game got abandoned
XtraTime Web Desk: Disappointment continues for Virat Kohli's Team India, as after a long, long wait on a Friday afternoon at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), persistent rain urged the umpires to call off the game hence robbing India with the chance to level the three-match series 1-1. India seemed to be all geared up to hunt down 137 in 19 overs, but the rain left Australia smiling for it was indeed a great escape for them. Already 1-0 ahead in the series, Aaron Finch's men cannot lose this series, while India's impressive run of seven consecutive T20I series wins has come to an end. Since the abandonment of the T20I match at Hyderabad last year against Australia, where the series had ended 1-1, India went on to win an array of seven consecutive T20I contests - against New Zealand and Sri Lanka at home in 2017, and in 2018 against South Africa, Ireland, England and finally West Indies.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
