Pakistan left arm pacer Wahab Riaz is the all time highest wicket taker in PSL

Xtra Time Web Desk: Pakistan left arm pacer Wahab Riaz has made a big statement on Indian Premier League. 35 year old Wahab, who is also the all time highest wicket taker in Pakistan Super League (PSL), rates IPL as a far more superior T20 league in world. He reckons there cannot be any comparison between IPL and PSL. According to Wahab, IPL is the best T20 league across the world. He feels the best players in the world participate in IPL which makes it even more superior. The left arm pacer credited BCCI for creating a window where top international players can feature in the league. According to the Pak pacer, the Indian cricket board’s commitments, the way they run things is a lot better than PCB. Wahab also feels the player draft system is far better in IPL than in PSL.

In an interview to Cricket Pakistan’s You Tube Channel, Wahab said, “IPL is a league where all the top international players come and play. You can’t compare IPL with PSL, I believe IPL is at a different level. Their commitments, the way they run things, communicate things, the way they draft the players, that is totally different. I don’t think any league can compete with the IPL, but if there is any league that stands behind it, it has to be the PSL. The League in Pakistan has proved it.”

Only thing Wahab reckons PSL has an edge over IPL is the quality bowling attacks in every franchise teams

“The standards of bowling are quite high. The kind of bowlers you get in the PSL is not found in other leagues, not even in the IPL. This is why PSL doesn’t have many high-scoring games. The bowling attacks in PSL are the best in the world,“ said Riaz.
