Twitter@PCB[/caption] Internet Desk: Yasir Shah took five wickets as Pakistan pulled off a 10-wicket win over England in the fourth Test at The Oval on the fourth evening of the game on Sunday, the result meaning the four-Test series ended 2-2. England, 88 for 4 overnight, was dismissed for 253 in its second innings, with Yasir taking 5 for 71 and Jonny Bairstow top-scoring with 81. That left Pakistan needing just 40 to win after centuries from Younis Khan (218), who was later named the Man of the Match, and Asad Shafiq (109) had helped it put up a first-innings total of 542 in reply to England’s 328. Azhar Ali (30 not out) ended the match by hitting Moeen Ali for a straight six as Pakistan finished on 42 without loss. Sami Aslam was on 12 at the time. Pakistan had won the first Test of the series at Lord’s, before England won at Old Trafford and Edgbaston. Pakistan remained at No. 3 in the world Test rankings but, following the result, could rise to No. 1 if things in Sri Lanka (against Australia) and the West Indies (against India) go its way. England resumed 126 runs adrift on the day after Yasir had gone through the top order with 3 for 15 late on Saturday. Gary Ballance and Bairstow were at the crease at the time. Ballance, though, was out for 17 when, playing away from his body, he was caught behind off Sohail Khan. England was 194 for 6 at lunch, still 20 behind, with Bairstow on 70, but it lost two wickets in two balls soon afterwards to be 209 for 8. Chris Woakes, backing up too far as Bairstow set off for a single, was run out for a duck by bowler Wahab Riaz's direct hit and, next ball, Bairstow chipped Riaz to Azhar in the covers to end a 127-ball innings featuring eight fours. Yasir enjoyed further success when Stuart Broad reverse-swept him straight to Younis at first slip. But with Riaz removed from the attack by the umpires for running on the danger area, England's last-wicket pair of Steven Finn and James Anderson added 32 before Anderson was lbw, sweeping, to Iftikhar Ahmed, the debutant offspinner. Azhar and Aslam knocked off the runs after that in 13.1 overs. Pakistan now travels to Ireland for two One-Day Internationals next week before returning to England for five ODIs and a Twenty20 International.
