XtraTime Web Desk: India reached the final of the Nidahas Trophy as they beat Bangladesh by 17 runs today. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first against the Men in Blue. India started well as skipper Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan added 70 runs in the opening partnership. Dhawan got out for 35 but Rohit got much-needed support from veteran Suresh Raina who scored 47 runs before getting out in the final over. Rohit played Captains knock with unbeaten 89 runs as India reached 176 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs.

Rubel Hossain bowled well for Bangladesh as he got two wickets in his four overs and restricted India to get 200 on the board but, it was not enough as Washinton Sundar picked three wickets for India and restricted the Tigers at 159 in their 20 overs. Bangladesh’s last match hero Mushfiqur Rahim was the lone warrior for the Tigers who remained not out on 72.
