Image Source: XtraTime[/caption] Internet Desk: The pressure was mounting on Team East Bengal, the criticisms from the top officials, fans and a portion of the members were trying to engulf the momentum of coach Trevor Morgan and his team for losing against Aizawl FC before the game against Bengaluru FC. But the British Coach replied in his usual fashion against the defending champions and that too at their own fortress on yesterday. Today, in an interaction with www.xtratime.in , the East Bengal gaffer said, "There were a lot of criticisms after we lost the game against Aizawl, which happened to be the first defeat we had in the league. The pressure was there. But I believe the best place to answer your critics, is on the field and my team did exactly that last night." Trevor also reminded that his team would be focused to maintain their rhythm in their upcoming games as well. The gaffer said, "The win was significant for so many reasons but we need to keep playing like this. My boys know their job and they will remain focused on their task ahead." The British tactician and his astute tactics hardly allowed the Blues to play their natural game. But Trevor seemed concerned about the injury of his star Haitian. He said, "Wedson is injured and we can get an update about it after getting the scan tomorrow. Lets see how it appears. Right now I have no clue how serious it is." The Haitian might not be available in the next game which East Bengal will play against Shillong Lajong, as Trevor said, "Wedson might not be available against Lajong in the crucial game but Willis Plaza is fit now and will be available in that game. So, we will get three foreigners in that game." The Red and Gold brigade got involved in a brawl yesterday after the game and players like Mehtab Hossain and Assistant Coach Warren Hackett too lost their cool. But Trevor said, "Yes I heard such things but I don't think there was anything serious happened. Actually, it was at my hind side as I was speaking to the match commissioner at that moment." East Bengal will play their next game against Thangboi Singto's Shillong Lajong on 4th March at Shillong Lajong.
