XtraTime News Desk: Mohun Bagan’s Australian midfielder Cameron Watson takes a dig at The AIFF and the I-League organizing committee after Gokulam FC defeated Kingfisher East Bengal in the crucial I-League encounter at Kozikhode today.
The tremendous hot and humid conditions in Kerala resulted the match officials to take cooling breaks twice during the game. It also resulted two key players of the two sides Alajmi (Gokulam FC) and Eduardo (East Bengal) were also compelled to leave the ground owing to severe hot and humid conditions.
Watson raised the question on Twitter by mentioning FPAI and FIFPro, as he lashed out at the organizers for scheduling matches at that time slot. FPAI too showed their grief on AIFF with a reply.
@ILeagueOfficial @FIFPro @FPAI Why is there a game in Kerala in 35 degrees at 2pm? Safety for players not taken into consideration?

Repeated pleas about game timing to the organisers have gone unheard and fallen into deaf ears..

Now it is to see how the I-League Committee responds to it.
