Kolkata: Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan continues their ongoing preparation for the I-League in full vigor as the Green and Maroon brigade are all set to face ISL teams FC Pune City and FC Goa on November 6 and 9 respectively, while the team will fly away from the city on November 4.

Bagan gaffer Sanjoy Sen who after his operation has taken the team in his hands said, ” 40-50% team is ready. The rest will have to taken care off”.  On being asked about facing ISL teams, Sen said ” Winning or losing is not a factor. Moreover I have watched ISL and the standard of the teams playing ISL are not too high”

However Bagan skipper Sony Norde said, “The ISL teams are ahead of teams playing the I-League. The foreigners are better there”. However Sony too believes that the Mariners have a good foreigner recruitment despite the fact that the team coordination needs to be improved.

Last season’s highest scorer Dipanda Dicka who scored 11 goals from 17 matches and 11 goals in 9 games in the CFL thinks that scoring hattrick or becoming the highest scorer is not the primary objective. The main aim is Mohun Bagan to win the I-League.

After the appointment of Sen, Mohun Bagan has seen a rise in young players getting chance in the team and the same would be expected in the upcoming season.

On the other hand Yuta Kinowaki is all ready to face Katsumi Yusa in the derby.
