However Ozil’s pure genius secured the win with a sensational finish. A beautiful ball over the top from Mohamed Elneny saw Ozil break clear, however with the ‘keeper onrushing and defenders not far behind the job was far from finished. The German lobbed the ball delicately over the goalkeeper and then sold both defenders with a dummy and scored sublimely. The goal has created a new wave across the globe.
